HOUSTON --
A firefighter fell off the roof of a burning home early Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Houston firefighters were battling a blaze at a home on Belgard Street near Bellfort Street at about 2:45 a.m.
A firefighter slipped while he was going down a ladder, officials said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to fully recover.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
