Firefighter Hopes to Apply Lessons from Kansas to Work in Paraguay

On Sept. 11, 2001, many people in the United States gained a new appreciation for the role that firefighters play in our society. For the people of Paraguay, that realization came to them on Aug. 1, when a fire ravaged a supermarket and took more than 400 lives in the city of Asuncion.
