GLENDALE, Colo. (AP) -- A man accused of setting a fire that killed a woman and destroyed a five-story apartment building was sentenced Monday to six years in prison and ordered to pay $5.6 million in restitution.

Blake Fieber, 23, will also spend three years on parole as part of a plea agreement in the Dec. 28, 2003, fire that killed 46-year-old Nancy Weaver, said Michael Knight, spokesman for the Arapahoe County district attorney.

Fieber had been charged with first-degree murder, along with second-degree assault and multiple counts of fourth-degree arson. He had faced a total of 30 criminal counts.

As part of the plea, Fieber pleaded guilty to one count of criminally negligent homicide and one count of fourth-degree arson, Knight said.

Fifty-four of the complex's 58 units were rented at the time of the fire.
