Firefighters at Sneak Preview: Realism, Family Life Strong in Ladder 49
As the credits rolled at the end of a pre-release showing of the movie Ladder 49, a story based on the lives of firefighters in a Baltimore fire house, the over 300 viewers rose from their seats and applauded the Disney Studio effort starring John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix.
Hundreds of firefighters were able to meet Robert Patrick Friday at Fire-Rescue International in New Orleans, and 300 were lucky enough to be among the first in the country to watch Ladder 49, due in theaters October 1st.
