Two New Jersey Men Scuffle With Firefighters As They Rescue Them From Burning Car

Two men scuffled with Jersey City firefighters as they pulled them out of a burning car on Wednesday night, according to reports.

Jersey City firefighters from Engine 10 and Ladder 12 found a car parked on Amity Road with the engine running and smoke streaming from it, Fire Capt. Andrew Johnson said.

Firefighters saw two men, apparently unconscious, inside the vehicle, Johnson said. But the two men, apparently unaware of the danger they were in, struggled with firefighters as they attempted to pull them out of the car, Johnson said.
