New Jersey Firefighters Brought House Fire Under Control, 7 Left Homeless

There were no injuries but the house was declared uninhabitable because of fire and smoke damage and electrical service and other utilities must be kept off until repairs are made
TRENTON - Seven people were left homeless by a fire that heavily damaged their house in the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue early yesterday, officials said.

Smoke was billowing from the first and second floors when firefighters arrived in response to a 12:53 a.m. alarm. Flames were raging at the rear of the first floor, officials said.
