MIDLOTHIAN, Texas (AP) -- A 28-year-old woman has been indicted on a felony charge of injury to a child after authorities say she set herself and her infant on fire last summer.
``She poured lighter fluid on herself and set herself on fire with the baby in her arms,'' assistant district attorney Patrick Wilson said in Tuesday's editions of the Waxahachie Daily Light.
Stacy Ann Brown of Midlothian, who was indicted Monday, suffered second- and third-degree burns over most of her body and was hospitalized until recently.
The 7-month-old child suffered first-degree burns from her neck to her waist and a small second degree burn on her buttocks, according to sheriff's reports.
