Like many boys, Don Bailey had an interest in being a firefighter as a youngster. Most outgrow that phase, but Bailey did not. He admitted to following the village trucks to fires whenever possible and as soon as he got old enough, he joined the other volunteers on the Jackson Center Fire Department
