One man was injured when his home caught fire Monday night.
According to fire reports, the fire started about 8:45 p.m. in a home on Lynn Therese Circle. The man cut his right arm on glass when he broke outside windows and began putting the fire out with an extinguisher.
Firefighters spent about two hours at the scene of the fire. When they arrived at the home they were told that all of the residents escaped the fire safely.
Fire investigators said smoking materials left in a bedroom was the cause of the fire. A couch bed caught fire first and the room ignited from it.
