Men Arrested For Firebombing Minister's Car

    A Tennessee volunteer firefighter with the Peytonsville Volunteer Fire Department is one of the men charged with throwing an explosive device into the car of a minister.
    Two Middle Tennessee men are in jail after charged with throwing an explosive device into the car of a minister.

    It happened last week in Franklin. Police say that David Jerkins and Joshua Newman threw a explosive and set a car on fire. Charges have now been filed against the two.

    What's more, Newman is also a volunteer with the Peytonsville Volunteer Fire Department. The owner of the car, David Schindel, serves as the pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Franklin.

    Both of the suspects will make thier first court appearance a week from today.
