There is a murder mystery in Brooklyn where the body of a woman was found under a burning car overnight.

Police themselves call this a mystery because they are trying to figure out what they have. Overnight, firefighters in New York City responded to a car fire in an alley in Sunset Park. When they got to the scene, they found a woman's body underneath the car.

The woman was burned beyond recognition and police don't know who she is. But the authorities have confirmed that an accelerant was used to burn this woman. Someone did light the woman or the car on fire.

Police are now looking for the owner of the car. However, authorities are unsure about the crime scene. There is no trauma to the body, no gunshots and no stab wounds. It is also unclear how this woman got into the alley or if she was run over by the car.

Police are still trying to figure out how this happened.
