A construction crew cut four inches through a gas line Monday afternoon, shutting down all lanes of 441 between Griffin and Sterling roads in Hollywood for hours, officials said.

No injuries were reported.

All feeder roads leading to 441 between Griffin and Stirling roads were also blocked off, Hollywood Fire Rescue spokesman Matt Phillips said.

The construction crew had been doing roadwork when they hit the line at about 3:25 p.m. Four Hollywood units and one Davie unit responded, including the Hazmat team, Phillips said.

Fire rescue cleared the scene around 5:45 p.m.
