CBS Looks At Firefighter Arsonists

Tonight on 60 Minutes II, Dan Rathers will take a look into the troubling trend of firefighters who set fires.

CBS producer Dana Roberson said the idea to do the segment, which will run at 8 p.m. EST, and last about 11 minutes, came about this summer after volunteer firefighters were arrested for setting fires out west. Roberson said that they started calling around and researching the topic including checking stories found on the Firehouse.com Web site, and were surprised by the number of incidents they were able to find.
