Pa. Firefighters Rescue Dog From Fire

Lancaster, Pa. firefighters returned the pooch to his grateful owner.

Lancaster, Pa. firefighters rescued a four-legged family member and returned him the waiting arms of the owner Friday afternoon.

The crew were originally told a person was trapped. But, others advised the only remaining occupant was the dog.

Crews found heavy smoke, and initiated an aggressive interior attack. They also located the dog.

The resident, clad in shorts and a t-shirt, was emotional when the lieutenant handed him over.
