Colo. Engine Struck by Fuel Tanker

Copper Mountain firefighters and the tanker driver are OK.

Colorado firefighters escaped injury when their engine was hit by a fuel tanker on an interstate.

Copper Mountain Engine 1 was providing scene protection for troopers on I-70 when it was hit by an empty fuel tanker.

The personnel in the apparatus as well as the rig driver were not injured.

The tanker sustained a large rip in the collision.
