Crimson Fire Welcomes EMC as New Dealer

July 9, 2009

Brandon, S.D., July 8, 2009 - Crimson Fire, Inc. has welcomed EMC as a new dealer in its growing Southwestern region.

The Brandon, S.D. - based manufacturer said EMC will sell and service Crimson's full line of custom fire trucks, aerials and rescue vehicles in the state of Arizona. EMC has nearly two decades of experience in the fire services and emergency-rescue market, as well as expertise working with hospitals, railroad companies, federal agencies and others to provide industry-focused equipment.

Andy Weertman and Jason Deliso, who are firefighters with strong experience in ER, will serve as the sales team focusing solely on the Crimson product line for EMC.

"We were very impressed with EMC, which is a service-oriented company that has a strong track record in diverse industries," said William F. Doebler, vice president of sales and marketing for Crimson. "Their contacts in the emergency-rescue industry, particularly their experience with working with many different agencies around the country, will greatly benefit the Arizona fire service."

"Our custom vehicles continue to make in-roads with fire departments throughout the Southwest who value us for our performance in all kinds of temperatures â and in all kinds of physical environments. We are pleased to welcome EMC to our growing dealer ranks."

With operations in Arizona and Illinois, EMC sells and services turnout gear, thermal imaging, fire hose, hydraulic rescue tools, air lifting bags, self-contained breathing apparatus, trench and confined space rescue equipment and many other products used in the fire service. The company also custom mounts and brackets equipment to new trucks after departments have taken delivery or reconfigures existing apparatus to ensure they operate more efficiently.

EMC also manufactures and distributes decontamination equipment and inflatable shelters. Nearly all Federal Emergency Management Agency response teams use EMC decontamination equipment. EMC also sells its decontamination to many hospitals throughout the country and to the U.S. military.

"Over the years, we have watched the fire services industry change, but two thing have remained constant: quality and customer service," said Joe Simon, president of EMC. "In Crimson Fire, we recognize a company that is committed to both, as is EMC.

"We chose Crimson after looking at a number of product lines because we feel that their products and their approach to service will resonate with our existing customers. We look forward to growing with Crimson."

"We feel that our skills in working on engines and with heavy-duty equipment will position us to provide full service to departments across the state. With our expansive footprint, departments will no longer need to travel great distances to have maintenance work done on their trucks."
