Names of Two OK Firefighters Killed in Roof Collapse Released

Waynoka firefighter Tayler Bradford, 28, and Chief Lonnie Bolar, 45, were trying to rescue a man and woman trapped in a burning house when the roof collapsed.

The names of two Oklahoma killed in a residential fire that also claimed two civilians have been released.

Waynoka Fire Chief Lonnie Bolar, 45, and firefighter Tayler Bradford were part of the response to a house fire Friday, according to an update by the U.S. Fire Administration. They had entered the home to search for a man and woman, and while trying to perform rescues, the roof collapsed, killing the firefighters and the two civilians.

Bolar had served 15 years in the fire service, while Bradford had served nine.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Bradford's family. As of early Monday, the campaign has more than $15,000 of its $10,000.
