MO Fire Chief Dies from COVID Complications

Festus Fire Department Fire Chief Kevin Cremer passed away from complications from COVID-19.

The Festus Fire Department announced the passing of Fire Chief Kevin Cremer due to complications from COVID-19. 

Chief Cremer died in ICU on Jan. 24, after a weeks-long battle with the virus.

The Festus Fire Department said Cremer was a 29-year veteran of the fire service.

He spent 13 years at Hematite Fire Protection District and started with the Festus Fire Department in September 2005.
