NC Firefighter Dies after Responding to Call

Bethany Volunteer Fire Department Driver Brandon Yeager died within 24 hours of a responding to a call.

The Bethany Volunteer Fire Department is mourning the loss of a longtime firefighter who after responding.

In a release on their Facebook page Tuesday night, the fire department shared the passing of Driver Brandon Yeager.

Yeager passed away within 24 hours of responding to a call, WFMY.com reported.

He was a resident of Bethany Fire Station 240, according to the fire department and served the department for 12 years.

"(He) was a dedicated servant to our community," the department shared. "All of us are deeply saddened by his untimely death. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and coworkers."
