A massive blaze at an abandoned building in the Bronx had more than 100 FDNY firefighters responding Thursday morning.

The fire broke out at about 8 a.m. in the East Tremont area of the Bronx, News 12 reports. The building had been vacant for a while, and no one was hurt in the incident.

It took 106 firefighters more than an hour to get the blaze under control. The fire collapsed part of the building, and officials told News 12 that because of that, it would take a longer time to put out any hidden hot spots that remained.
