NY Firefighters Save Unconscious Woman from Burning House

A woman was taken to the hospital after Syracuse crews found her unconscious and not breathing during a search of the second floor of a home that caught fire.

An unconscious woman trapped in a burning house was rescued by New York firefighters Wednesday.

The fire broke out at around 5:15 p.m. at a two-story home in Syracuse, The Post-Standard reports. Crews were told a woman was trapped inside the house, and she was found not breathing and unconscious during a search of the second floor by firefighters.

The woman was taken to the hospital, but her condition was not known, according to The Post-Standard. No other injuries were reported, and the fire is under investigation.
