Watch FFs Save Teen from Second Story of Burning NY House

Raw video shows Buffalo firefighters carrying a 15-year-old boy to safety after he was trapped on the upper floor of a single-family home that caught fire early Monday.

New York firefighters saved a teen from the second floor of a burning house early Monday.

The blaze broke out at about 2:30 a.m. on the upper floor of a single-family home in Buffalo, WIVB-TV reports. A 15-year-old boy become trapped on the second floor, and crews needed to use a ladder from the outside to reach him.

Video posted on the department's Facebook page shows firefighters carrying the boy through the window and safely getting him to the ground. Once out of the house, the teen was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. 

Another person also was inside the house, but he was able to escape on his own, WIVB added.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
