Chicago Firefighter Injured in 2-Alarm House Blaze

A Chicago firefighter was injured during a two-alarm house blaze late Sunday.

The fire broke out at about 11 p.m. at a home in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood, WBBM-TV reports. A mayday was called during the call, but all firefighters were accounted for.

One firefighter suffered heat-related issues, according to the fire department. The firefighter was taken to the hospital in stable condition, WBBM added.

It's not clear if the injured firefighter also was involved in the mayday call.
