Two FDNY Firefighters Injured in 3-Alarm Residential Blaze

More than 130 FDNY firefighters responded to a large blaze that broke out at a five-story apartment building on New York City's Upper West Side.

Two FDNY firefighters were injured putting out a three-alarm residential blaze Tuesday.

Crews responded to the fire at about 10:45 a.m. at a five-story apartment building on New York City's Upper West side, WCBS-TV reports. The call had more than 130 firefighters at the scene.

During the blaze, two firefighters suffered minor injuries. No details were released about the nature of the injuries of the firefighters' conditions.

The fire was extinguished before noon, WCBS added.
