A retired firefighter and his daughter - a medical school student - helped rescue a man from an Anne Arbor house fire Saturday.
Michael Harvey, a former Farmington Hills firefighter, and his daughter Rachel spotted the fire when they saw flames in the living room of the home, according to clickondetroirt.com.
Harvey, his daughter and several bystanders got into the home where they found an elderly man unconscious and they pulled him from the burning home.
Rachel tended to the man and his injuries until an ambulance arrived.
