Tampa firefighters reunited with a woman they rescued from an October house fire, and presented her with a check to help with the recovery from fire.
The crew from Tampa Fire Rescue Engine 7 knew a wheelchair-bound woman was inside the home when they arrived and they went into rescue mode to find her.
"When you’re able to come back and see the difference you made it makes you feel good about what you do for the city of Tampa," Capt. Rodger Shipp told Fox13News.com.
"I did break down and cry and thank God that he allowed me to make it out," the victim said.
During the visit, firefighters presenter her with a $1,000 check from the Firemen's Benevolent Association.
