A mobile home fire that claimed two in Harris County early Tuesday is blamed on an overloaded extension cord.
The fire had spread to two other homes by the time firefighters arrived in the area, according to Fox 26.
Following an investigation, the county fire marshal's office determined the cord sparked the blaze.
Due to the intensity, firefighters initiated a defensive attack.
The fire also destroyed two trucks.
