D.C. police are searching for the person responsible for fire-bombing several businesses involving explosive devices and a Molotov cocktail-style object.

A bank, a retail store and a grocery store in Northeast were all targeted within 15 minutes early Sunday, WUSA9 reported. 

Officials say one of the suspects and the suspects' car were captured by surveillance cameras. The car is described to be a gold/champagne color Acura TL with a Maryland license plate.

The incidents started at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at the bank, followed by a Nike story and then, a Safeway. All were closed and no injuries were reported. 

Police believe the suspects may have been targeting the businesses, not people.
