After Fourth of July celebrations, firefighters in Virginia and Maryland responded to to multiple fires likely caused by fireworks.
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department responded to nine incidents including three house fires, and an apartment fire, all of which are thought to be fireworks related, WUSA9.com reported.
The fires are all under investigation.
In Montgomery County, MD firefighters responded to five fireworks-related fires.
Prince George's County, MD, firefighters found a two-story duplex with fire showing through the roof.
Stafford, VA firefighters reported heavy fire from the roof and side of a two-story house on Tuesday night. The fire quickly spread to an adjacent house.
