D.C. Apartment Fire Leaves One Dead, Three Hurt

One person was killed and three others were injured in an apartment building fire in the nation's capital.

Several residents were rescued by firefighters who found the fire on the eighth floor of the nine-story building.

A firefighter and two residents taken to the hospital for treatment will be OK, WRC reported.

The cause remains under investigation.
