Children Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries in Clifton, VA, Fire

Fairfax County firefighters rescued the two children and performed CPR on them.

Two children suffered life-threatening injuries in a Fairfax County house fire Wednesday.

Firefighters and EMS personnel performed CPR on the two after they were rescued from the house, neighbors told WRC.

Another child got out of the house and called 9-1-1. The grandparents tried to help the trapped children but were driven back by the smoke and flames. 

The cause is under investigation.
