Historic Roller Rink in Sister Lakes, MI, Destroyed

Lightning may have sparked the blaze that destroyed the 100-year-old building.

Lightning may be to blame for a massive fire that destroyed historic Ramona Roller Rink,

Most of the 100-year-old building, which still had much of the original structure, was destroyed.

Residents say they think a pole next to the building was struck by lightning.

“I do know, at this time, the storm was raging through the area, so that’s something we will focus on,” said Twin Lakes Fire Chief Anthony Lozada told WNDU.
