Engines 9 and 11, Ladder 3 and 1, Rescue 1 and Battalion 2 were dispatched to 41 and Westfield for a dwelling fire.
County Radio reported numerous calls on the fire with witnesses stating there were jumpers.
Battalion 2 arrived at 4113 Westfield Ave to find a 2 story twin, heavy fire showing with numerous people trapped requesting the all hands.
Squad 7 and Battalion 1 were added to the box.
Battalion 2 requested the 2nd alarm minutes later bringing in Engine 1, Engine 6, Ladder 2 and Car 3. Car 3 took command and special called Engine 10 to the scene for assistance.
Crews made several rescues from the building.
Medics 41,43,44,and 35 with 3 Camden BLS units were added to the box. BLS units from Westmont, Collingswood, Pennsauken, Bellmawr were called for assistance.
Four victims were transported to Cooper Trauma Center, several adults and a child. Several others were transported to Cooper ER as well. Another is believed to be D.O.A in the dwelling.
Crews contained the blaze using 7 hand-lines.
One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Camden City Fire Marshals and Camden County Fire Marshals.
