Anne Arundel County, MD (MFN) Crews responded to the 7300 Block of Gatewater Ct (Glen Burnie) around 0830 hrs Monday morning for the (911) report of "Fire through the roof." Crews from the Marley Station (18) arrived reporting a working fire. A second alarm was immediately requested and dispatched. Crews quickly knocked down the flames with an aggressive attack.
Residents reported a heavy odor of smoke prior to actually seeing the flames. One resident advised he heard 2 explosions around the same time. Fire officials report the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
