Penryn, PA, Fire Company, of Lancaster County, has taken delivery of a 2018 E-ONE Typhoon e-MAX rescue pumper.

Penryn, PA, Fire Company, of Lancaster County, has taken delivery of a 2018 E-ONE Typhoon e-MAX rescue pumper. It is built on a four-door, eight occupant, 80-inch extruded aluminum cab, with a 20-inch Vista roof with full-height rear doors, severe-duty interior, and Bostrom Firefighters seats with IMMI Smart Dock SCBA brackets. It's powered by a 450-hp Cummins L9 Diesel engine and Allison EVS3000P automatic transmission. To fight fire it has an eMAX single-stage 1,500-gpm, low-profile, split-shaft pump and a UPF Poly Tank III 1,030-gallon water tank. It is also equipped with a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, ROM shutter doors and a Ziamatic hosebed access ladder.
