A woman was critically injured after her vehicle fell from a bridge when it was struck by a tractor-trailer in Houston.
The crash happened early Friday when the woman was driving the wrong way on North Loop W Freeway Service Road, according to Click2Houston.com.
Police said the driver stopped in the travel lane and was struck by the 18 wheeler, which launched the car off the bridge.
The car landed among trees and Houston firefighters worked to extricate the woman.
She was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
