A Clay County firefighter was injured while battling a blaze that left a business damaged Wednesday night.
Crews responded to the fire at Woody's Wheels in the 2300 block of Blanding Boulevard in Middleburg around 6:40 p.m. and encountered heavy fire inside the structure, according to First Coast News.
Capt. Ron Hildum said that the firefighter sustained a minor injury but would not elaborate on what kind of injury it was.
No other injuries were reported.
It took crews less than 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Officials said the building sustained heavy smoke and heat damage.
