Threats Reported by Texas Emergency Responders

Sept. 4, 2015
Several incidents aimed at firefighters in Texas are under investigation.

The threat against law enforcement officers in Texas has now apparently spread to emergency personnel.

Several threatening incidents reported this week are under investigation.

On Thursday, a Houston fire captain stopped in his vehicle at a red light reported hearing a man in the back seat of an adjacent car tell someone: “t’s not a cop.” according to KHOU.

In an apparent unrelated incident the day before, four Aldine firefighters were eating lunch in a fast food restaurant when they were notified that a man was observed taking photos of them.

The witness said they overheard a phone conversation in which the man said: “Hurry, there are four white firemen here. I'll try to keep them until y'all get here."

Also in Texas, arson investigators reported a group of people making gunpointing gestures at them while making pig sounds.

Firefighters across the country are being warned to be on the alert.
