The Detroit EMT who was injured after a radio was thrown at his ambulance Tuesday talked with media about what happened.
Tyler Ensign was in the back of the ambulance treating a patient when a radio was thrown through a window.
"I still can't believe it. From the distance, into a moving truck, I mean, the Lions could use him. I couldn't believe it when I found out what it was and what happened," Tyler Ensign told ClickonDetroit.com.
"I'm in the back and I just heard a loud bang, and the next thing you know I was on the floor and bleeding," Ensign recalled.
The radio that was thrown was stolen from firefighters by the patient's relative. While police know who the man is, they do not have him in custody.
Ensign plans to return to work when he is cleared by medical authorities.
