Two WV FFs Injured in Building Collapse

Williamson, WV firefighters were hitting hotspots in the building that caught fire a few days ago.

Two Williamson firefighters were injured including one severely when a building collapsed.

They were hitting hotspots from an earlier fire when the 'frontage of the burned building collapsed," according to City of Williamson officials. 

There was no word on the nature of the injuries suffered by the firefighters. City officials said one suffered more 'severe' injuries than the other. A fire engine also was damaged.

City officials said they had scheduled the building that burned a few days ago to be razed.
