Off-Duty Chicago FF Injured in Gas Station Shooting

The Chicago firefighter was off-duty when three men opened fire at an Oak Lawn gas station striking the firefighter.

Police are searching for the shooters who opened fire at an Oak Lawn gas station, striking an off-duty Chicago firefighter.

The shooting happened Tuesday when three men pulled up to a BP gas station and opened fire toward a man pumping gas in a Chevy Suburban. 

The bullets struck the off-duty firefighter in the shoulder, with several rounds striking the gas station, CBS Chicago reported.

The firefighter suffered graze wounds that were not considered life threatening.
