NJ Firefighter Augusto Acabou Receives Final Salute

Newark Firefighters Augusto Acabou, 45, and Wayne "Bear" Brooks Jr., 49, died battling a ship fire last week.

The Funeral Mass for Newark Firefighter Augusto "Augie" Acabou, 45, is being held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. 

He and Firefighter Wayne "Bear" Brooks Jr., 49, both made the ultimate sacrifice just over one week ago while battling a blaze aboard a ship in Port Newark.

Brooks' service is set for Friday.
