Off-Duty Baltimore Medic Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Paramedic Erica Harrison was remembered for her 'kind and compassionate spirit.'

A beloved paramedic died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on I-95 last week.

Erica Harrison, 39, would have celebrated her second anniversary of being assigned to Medic 27 on Thursday, WJZ reported.

On Tuesday, fellow firefighters, medics and members of her motorcycle club escorted her body from R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center to a funeral home.

She is remembered for her caring nature. 

"Erica's dedication and service to our department and community are a testament to her kind and compassionate spirit. Her impact will be deeply felt and remembered by all who had the honor of working alongside her. Erica's contributions to our community and the lives she touched will always be remembered and cherished," a statement from the department read.
