Sarasota County, FL, Firefighter Suffers Medical Issue at House Fire
A firefighter experienced a medical emergency ahouse fire in Sarasota on Sunday.
The unidentified Sarasota County firefighter was treated by co-workers at the incident before being transported to a local hospital.
"He is awake, talking, and responding well to the excellent care he is receiving," a fire department spokesperson told WTSP.
Fellow firefighters are supporting their colleague's family.
The cause of the house fire is being investigated.
