OH Station Fire Forces Crews to Relocate

A fire in Toledo Fire Station 18 has forced crews to relocate to adjacent stations.

A fire in Toledo Station 18 involving electrical components and communications equipment has forced crews to relocated to nearby stations.

Early Wednesday morning, firefighters working in the station heard a noise and found a small fire in a storage room located in the back of the station, according to NBC24 News.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Officials determined that the crews cannot stay in the station due to smoke damage in multiple living areas.

Fire officials ensured the community around the station the crews would remain in service but they had to be moved to nearby stations and will still respond to their district.
