HEN Technologies declared that it has closed a $2 million venture debt round and an oversubscribed $20 million Series A fundraising round. The company's predictive AI platform, Fluid-IQ, which is based on cutting-edge fluid dynamics hardware, will be deployed more quickly thanks to the funds. The startup has raised more than $30 million so far.

NSFO, Tanas Capital, and z21 Ventures participated in the round, which was led by O'Neil Strategic Capital. The venture debt came from Silicon Valley Bank. The money will finance the growth of HEN's IoT-enabled hardware infrastructure, putting the business in a position to obtain the first complete operational fire dataset in the sector—the final component needed for really predictive fire defense.

"We're proud to lead this round and back HEN's vision to create an entirely new category: the intelligent operating system for fire defense," said Alex Garden, managing partner of O'Neil Strategic Capital. "Their hardware-first approach has already proven transformative in the field with more than 1,000 organizations globally. By building the data infrastructure that enables predictive AI, HEN is positioned to become the essential platform for how the world fights fires. This is how category-defining companies are built."

Today, wildfires cost the US between $400 billion and $800 billion a year in lost ecosystems, infrastructure damage, and health effects. Damages from the Palisades fire in Los Angeles alone exceeded $50 billion.

"That's why we are building transformational technology using Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) and AI-powered decision support. We are moving beyond optimizing tools to optimizing strategy. This is essential infrastructure for climate resilience and national security," said Dr. Sunny Sethi, CEO of HEN Technologies.

HEN's IoT-enabled solutions capture vital information on flow, pressure, and pattern performance straight from the front lines, resulting in three times faster extinguishment and a 67% reduction in water usage.

"We are capitalizing on our momentum by scaling three critical areas: partner enablement, customer experience and technical operations," said Akshay Thakor, COO of HEN Technologies.

In order to give consumers a firsthand, hands-on assessment of its technologies, HEN is expanding a staff of more than 100 product demonstration specialists and has over 100 distributors operating in 20 countries.

"Their proprietary fluid dynamics and AI platform don't just improve efficiency; they deliver a paradigm shift in firefighting capabilities. This investment reflects our strong conviction in their technology, their exceptional team and the profound impact they will have on public safety globally," said Raj Singh, managing partner at z21 Ventures.
