Showcase: Off-Road Fire/Rescue Unit Delivered to Wabash, Ind.

Wabash Township Fire Department in West Lafayette, Ind., recently took delivery of a 1st Attack Engineering, Inc. Co-poly Off-Road Fire Rescue truck conversion.

It is built on a 2013 Ford F450 extended cab with a V10 gasoline engine and 4X4. It features a 350 gallon water tank, 18 HP Darley 2BE fire pump, five-gallon foam cell, brush guard with ground sweep nozzles and Akron Brass remote-mount nozzle with cab control.

It also has two 100-foot Reelcraft electric rewind hose reels, Warn 9,000-pound electric winch, PowerArc LED emergency lighting, FRC LED scene lighting, 4-inch suspension upgrade and 36-inch Mickey Thompson MTZ Radial tires on super single wheels.
