The Digby Volunteer Fire Department in Nova Scotia, Canada, has taken delivery of a 2015 pumper/tanker built by Acres Emergency Vehicles on a four-door International cab and chassis. It is powered by a 465-hp engine and an Allison transmission. It has a Waterous 1,500-gpm pump and a 3,000-gallon tank. The apparatus also has a Zico portable tank rack and a Newton rear dump valve with a swivel. The department was looking to replace an older pumper/tanker, similar to the one it purchased, which can haul significant amounts of water and five firefighters for rural operations.
