Wilson Borough, PA, Volunteer Fire Dept. Gets New Pumper

The Wilson Borough Volunteer Fire Department, Northampton County, PA, have taken delivery of a 2017 Smeal custom pumper, built on a Spartan cab and chassis. The unit features a Spartan four-door, climate controlled Metro Star cab and chassis with a 10-inch raised roof. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVP transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX150-23L single-stage pump, FRC Pro-T-Series pressure governor. Other equipment includes an in-cab EMS box, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, slide -out tool trays, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools, and a ladder tunnel. It also has a Smart Power 8,000-watt generator, Command Light LED light tower, FRC Spectra scene lighting, Whelen LED warning lights, ROM roll-up doors, Akron Apollo Hi-Riser deck gun, Hannay booster hose reel, front LED brow light, Federal Q2B mechanical siren. It was sold by Campbell Supply Company, South Brunswick, NJ.
