The Tisbury Fire Department has taken delivery of custom-built Bulldog Fire & Emergency Apparatus high-water rescue truck that's built on a Stewart and Stevens 4x4 chassis with cab seating for three.
The rig is powered by a CAT C7 diesel engine.
The fire suppression components feature a Darley 2BE Vanguard gasoline-powered skid-mounted centrifugal portable pump capable of 375-gpm at 25 psi. There is a 500-gallon water tank and two Hannay wet reels with 300 feet of 1-inch hose.
Emergency lighting includes a Whelen JE2NFPA 56-inch light bar and LED exterior scene lights.
